I believe that the goal of therapy is not simply to experience a remission in symptoms, but to better understand yourself and your story and work toward genuine and lasting change.
About Me:
I am a psychodynamic and expressive arts therapist who emphasizes insight and long-lasting change. I have a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) through the state of Kentucky and currently recieve weekly supervision.
My interests include the intersection of spirituality, creativity, and mental well-being and healing. This means that I am ready to explore deep and confusing topics like navigating church hurt and attachment wounds, and looking at the roles we play in our lives and how they define our self-understanding, like leader, pastor, therapist, parent, child, and partner.
I utilize a variety of modalities, tailoring my approach to the needs and goals of those I work with. I work with clients who have experienced trauma in a variety of ways, connecting through a therapeutic relationship, building skills through DBT, processing through expressive arts, and resolving through Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
